Thomas Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence about our unalienable rights of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. It begs the question about our level of happiness and what is it that makes us happy. Happiness is the feeling of contentment and pleasure that we all understand and appreciate when we are happy. It does seem that for us to be happy takes a bit of introspection and effort. We need to be considerate of all that is going on in our lives and our sense of what we can do to be happy. The good news is that we do have an active role in being happy and that should provide us the confidence that we indeed do have rights in what Jefferson told us was ours to pursue. Let’s be happy!
Loving life when I am happy
