Food matters

For as hard as we push ourselves on our journey taking care of our mental and physical health is critically important.  While nourishing our body and mind should be an everyday practice, there are times when it just does not seem easy to do so.  We need to think about fueling our body with nutrient-dense ingredients that help all elements of our system including our gut biome.    Thinking about food that provides essential energy, is about making choices to eat specific nutrients that can give us the energy boost we crave. We should think about ingredients with a vitamin B complex, vitamin C, protein, healthy fats, fiber, iron, manganese and potassium.  When we do this, we will find that we have more energy, we are less tired, and we are ready to go wherever our journey takes us.
