It is a tantalizing path, the “easier way”, promising some form of simplicity and efficiency. The allure of an alternative path that requires less effort. More convenience is tempting, and yet it might not always lead to the most fulfilling or rewarding outcomes. The easier way can force us to overlook crucial aspects of what we are setting out to do. And yet, in certain situations, finding that more streamlined approach is exactly what we need. Optimizations do matter, and we need to take advantage of them. Ultimately, there are times when we want the easier path and other times when it does not serve our needs. It leaves us knowing that we need to strike a balance between expediency and the long-term value of perseverance and thoughtfulness. A life lesson worth acting on every chance we can.
Loving life when I find the easier way, or not
