For sure, what we learn as we go along on our journey is that what we do is up to us, that the path we take is of our doing, and that we need no permission to live the life we want. We know these to be the truths that we live by. And with this kind of agency and a bit of aspiration, we also know that we want to be unique, independent, and happy with who we are. We do not want to be like someone else because we feel better about ourselves for having made our choices and selecting our path. We, can, and should, of course, be part of a vibrant community and accept input from others and respect them for who they are, which can fit with us being who we are, ourselves, individually, yes indeed!
