February is Black History Month so that we can celebrate the achievements of Black Americans and recognize the central role they had in shaping U.S. history. But we know it has to be more than this. We need to think about the past so we can think about how we can create a better future. It is not just something that gets done in a month but rather a different way for us every day. A commitment to providing a fair and equitable opportunity to all, regardless of skin color or inclination. Here’s to believing that we can do better than we did in our history and doing something about it, every day.
