For the 7.4 billion people in the Northern Hemisphere of the 8 billion people on the planet, we are hitting our summer solstice, the “longest” day of the year. We get more sunlight than any other day and we begin the slow tilt towards the winter solstice. It is a day to get outside, appreciate the most daylight we will have for another year. It is a day to do more than we would otherwise do, to be inspired by the intersection of gravity, nature, science, and life. It is an amazing world we live on, mother earth, she should be appreciated every day and even more today. So, let’s look up to the sun and be thankful for all we have, yes indeed!!
Loving life on the summer solstice
