Well, while not everyone is a runner, it is great to have a day to focus on this very elemental and healthy form of movement that we humans have taken on from a very early time in human history. It is a day, the first Wednesday of June, when we celebrate all things running. Whatever the distance, this is all about putting one foot in front of another and setting a pace of our choosing. We can go around the block or run a marathon, all that matters is that we are getting outside and doing something good for ourselves on many levels. So, let’s celebrate National Running Day and find a way to get out there more often!
