Five days, five habits

We are all “smart” people, and we know what we need to do to improve our healthspan, boost our vitality, to live healthier. Yet, we all, from time to time, struggle to get there, to maintain, to stay true to what we know we should do.  So, how about a simple challenge for all of us – let’s start with a 5/5 challenge.  Five days in a row, five good habits and let’s see where it goes:

·      Good sleep – let’s say 6-8 hours

·      Balanced meals – more protein, less junk

·      Movement – at least 30 minutes, yoga, walking, weights, anything that gets us moving

·      Mindset – think positive thoughts, breathe deeply, meditate, or sit in silence

·      Giving - let’s do something that makes someone else feel better

This should be easy to do, it will make us feel better, and it can set us up to live the way we want to and know we should live.
