It is that great time of the year when the TED talk team is publishing one talk a day from their most recent annual conference and while they are all very good it seemed that the following talk from David Brooks - he raises an interesting point about our personality by talking about that idea that each of us have two selves - he suggest that on self craves success and lives to build a résumé, and the second seeks connection, community, and love — the values that make for a great eulogy. Brooks asks: Can we balance these two selves? Seems to be a good challenge for our THPL community. Enjoy the video and the thought process following from watching it.
