There is so much that we take for granted in our daily lives. A roof overhead, heat, food and especially water. And once reminded we do acknowledge that there are so, so many people in the world who do not have access to these basic needs to live. And while there a lot of organizations whose purpose is to help those of less fortune, UNICEF has done a remarkable job over the years to bring help to those in need. And now we have a chance to get involved with the most minimal of effort and yet a big impact.

The UNICEF Tap Project is working to help the ~768 million people around the world without access to clean water. And we can do something to help – yes, all members of the THPL community can help – this one is quite simple. All you have to do is to use your mobile fun to enter the challenge. From your phone go to UNICEFTAPPROJECT.ORG and then follow the prompts. For every minute that you don’t touch your phone, one of the sponsors will provide one day of clean water to someone in need. What could be easier or more rewarding? Time to get involved!
