What will you do that others won’t?

To venture down the path of THPL you have to make choices.  Choices about how to create your own version of Life, Learning and Fitness – one that you feel pushes you and provides you the structure and purpose required to be fulfilled, happy and driving to “better” in your life.  And so when it is true that we are committed to a higher level of performance in our own lives then the simple question is what will you do to get there?  And when reflecting on this question it is most likely possible that some, if not many, of the decisions you make and the actions you take will be different than others who you know or live around you.  And thus it brings us to the internal question that we need to ask of ourselves – will making different choices truly create a foundation for better performance and a better life for me?  Is this indeed true?  The THPL community believes so and it hangs together on the idea that “lives are made and not given”.  And so when you have a minute you might want to see how you can engage with this idea in an intimate way.  One way to do this is to take some time to write the list of what you will do that others won’t.   What is it that will make you different, which will give you disproportionate advantage in your life?  The process of writing down your list moves you one step closer to being able to achieve your version of different.  The writing down step is an implied commitment to yourself and a very big move in the right direction.   From there anything is possible – you just have to look for it and then write it down and commit to it.  In so doing you might just find the pathway forward to high performance in your life and one wicked good version of THPL!

Loving Life and being different!
