Action then Passion

On our THPL journey it would be normal to meet someone of passion, someone who exudes a love for something that goes beyond the norm. They have excitement for the activity and it is easy to see.  Many times, though, I think we see passion and we have the cause / effect backwards.  The THPL view is that passion is the result of action, not the cause.  Action is the cause for inspiration that leads to motivation, which over time translates to passion.  The “secret” to finding this is to tap into the natural order in our internal system.  This translates to the idea that all you need to do is just start, start whatever it is you have interest in and your brain starts to figure out what to do.  We are very responsive, creative and adaptable.  But to trigger these traits we need to act, to just go and do something.  If we reflect on this concept, even for a minute, it becomes obvious indeed it is the action that is the first step.  Take action and all else follows – and passion is soon to follow.  Give it a try,  take action, again and again, and you will most certainly be surprised by the results.

Loving life, when taking action.
