Making the same different

On the THPL journey there is a high likelihood that if you are a runner there are days that running the same route or the same distance can just get routine or boring or make you not even want to get out there.  We all know that a good run is good for the heart, mind and legs and so the question is how can we keep the interest level high.  There are many techniques; you can run intervals, you can go out on a trail, run on the track or even go out for a run with a backpack loaded with weight.  All of these approaches not only keep the interest level high they create different metabolic and physical responses and can make you stronger and faster.  Do at least one different run a week or every other day and for sure you will find a way to enjoy running again.  Being creative is part of a good THPL journey – enjoy the freedom to do what you want and have fun doing it.
