For as long as I have been on the THPL journey, and it has been quite some time, I have enjoyed, appreciated, and looked forward to days when I can get in three hours of fitness activities. It calms the soul and puts a range of “strain” on the body that can only make it better. The good news is that the three hours can comprise a lot of stuff and it only happens with serious commitment to the goal. Getting there can consist of a long bike ride, or a day with two-workouts, or a day composed of many episodes of activity. The form matters none, what matters is the outcome, the result, which in this case is three hours of fitness activity and a deep feeling of accomplishment. Today I hit the magical three hours and boy was it a great day for fitness (even with the frigid outside weather). It started with a 13.5 mile run, 130 pullups, 500 crunches, and 130 dips. Add in 45 minutes on the spin bike and a visit with miss Sally (Moby Flower) and there it is three hours of fitness activities for a Saturday. There is no better way to spend it, now if I can just get three hours in tomorrow it will be the perfect weekend.
