With three core themes (Life, Learning and Fitness), balance would seem to be one of the core elements on the THPL journey. But since many of the reasons why we love THPL is about high performance it seems that balance is hard to have. To improve requires a deep level of focus, a commitment to increasing intensity and a desire to a high level of frequency that in and of itself makes us better than otherwise. It seems that we like the pain and strain associated when we stretch ourselves, it is at these moments that we start to find our fitness self. It is as we get closer to our maximum capability that our focus increases and our appreciation of our own progress is best satisfied. So, it is important that we make the commitment to find our fitness self, to find the edges and the resulting satisfaction that comes from playing with this THPL theme more and more.
Loving life, when going as hard as we can
