At some point along our journey it would be likely that someone (around us) would use the metaphor“separate the wheat from the chaff”. And we intuitively know what they mean; that is separate the valuable from the worthless. Thinking about the THPL journey and the constraint of time, it would seem logical then that we would want to optimize how we use our time and put effort and focus on “separating the wheat from the chaff” so that we can do this. There are many examples for how we can do this that affect our THPL journey, it could start with our food profile and eliminating low nutrient foods, or making sure that we avoid meaningless TV, or spending too much time sitting. The instances should be personal and we should know that they are out there waiting for us to act on. So, let’s see if we can challenge ourselves and look for opportunities to get more “wheat” in our life and a lot less “chaff”. THPL is the catalyst for this kind of “life inspection” and we will be so happy for the result when we do indeed do this.
Loving life ….when it is full of “wheat”
