There are many things that we celebrate on the THPL journey. Many of them our accomplishments or those of members of our community. And then there is today, Memorial Day in the US, the day that we recognize (celebrate) the greatest sacrifice any individual can make – to die for their country and all of their fellow citizens. The men and women who we recognize today, whether we know them or not, are the reason we have the ability to live THPL. They protect that which is at the foundation of THPL – life, liberty and freedom. It with these rights comes our ability to dream and to dream it the way we want to so that each version of THPL can be ours. All of course in a bigger context for how to live. And when there is challenge to our “rights” we can always count on a set of selfless, amazing, people who are willing to put their life on the line to protect our rights and our freedom to live the THPL.
