In the moment

We get a lot of opportunities along the THPL journey to experience, see and feel a lot.  And it seems that as good as this opportunity is for learning and appreciating what it is that we get to do, we too often miss it – we get distracted, diverted, sidetracked – and what comes of it is a true lack of appreciation for what we are doing.  The “better” path is to stay in the moment, to not get distracted, to stay present and appreciate, to put effort and focus to what it is that we are doing, so that the maximum feeling and benefit is there for the taking.  It does take work to stay in the moment, our time starved and busy lives conspire against us but we need not let distraction win.  Rather, we want to make “the moment” the priority, focus on it, appreciate it and most of all stay in control of it and how we live.  It is ours to choose which path we go on – the vote for staying in the moment is very compelling…. and when executed it brings a lot of return and benefits some of which we would not have seen nor expected had we not stayed there…

Loving life when I am living in the moment.
