There are moments on the THPL journey when we are pushed to our limits. This is ok as we seem to enjoy finding if there are indeed limits. We are wired to find the limits as there is a lot to learn both about ourselves and what is possible. There are sometimes, though, when we get close to the limits and we get anxious, worried, hyper. There is, as we learn, nothing wrong with this anxious state. In fact it might be this hyper vigilant state that gets us, in a better way, to the place we have been targeting and the limit that we have been reaching for. So, let’s not try to calm down, instead we need to embrace our nerves and use them to our advantage. It will help us improve our performance and give ourselves the best that we can get to, maybe be anxious is better than we realized….
