We start our journey on the planet as explorers, we ask questions, we investigate everything around us, we do whatever it is that helps us learn, grow, develop, explore, embrace…. and for as long as is possible we do not ask permission to do so. It is quite the powerful start, from the time we are crawling till we get to be a toddler it is a wicked cool life. Then something happens and we start to be constrained, contained, restricted, permission required for more than less and the journey becomes a bit different. And then for some indeterminate amount of time we will seek permission again and yet again, all seemingly congruent with when we were younger?. Which gets us to today, do we really need permission to live life the way we want? Do we need permission to explore, to find out what is out there for us, to craft our life as we might imagine? I dare say that years of needing to ask has put a half-step in our game….a hesitation. How about from this point forward we consider that on our THPL journey permission is granted. We have the right and the ability to do what we want. Might take a bit of time, might take a few attempts, might need resources or resolve but there is no permission required. How exciting, back to the beginning, learn, grow, develop, explore, embrace. Wow, now that sounds fun!
