From the outside

It often feels like the best way to live, to take our journey is to be on the “inside” to be “in the know”.  We get access to insights, to the things that we want to know, even to shortcuts that can make the journey that much easier to take on.  And for sure it feels good to be an insider.  There is only goodness that can come from being an insider.  We should embrace it when we get the opportunity and appreciate it for as long as we are on the inside.  Yet, maybe, just maybe, insider information might be self-limiting.  With the hard problems solved for us we don’t reach into the depths of what is possible.  We just solve the problem and we move on.  Is it then, possible, that we could learn more from being an outsider?  We would have to figure “it” out ourselves.  We would have to apply all of the skills and disciplines that we have built over time and apply them in a more creative way, in ways that have not been proven, nor maybe even tested by us.  We can have fun with it – we can try just about any new approach that we want to test and see what results we get.  Living life “from the outside” can be awesome – we just have to embrace it and realize that we might just be better off working from the outside, learning, trying, running, problem solving.  It does sound like this “outside” thing is indeed packed with enablers that get us to the place lots of how we want to live

Loving life when I start as an outsider.
