There are so many great things about being on the THPL journey, not the least of which is when we find ourselves in new and different places our senses are heightened and our curiosity peaked. When something is different, we want to know more. Why is it that way, what is it about the location, are the people different, and so much more. And so I find myself in Australia, in winter time, thinking about the southern hemisphere. They live differently than those of us up north, July is winter, Christmas is in summer, they are far away from a lot, and there are a lot less people around. Australia, just 24 million people in a country the size of the U.S. The population below the equator only 800 million, just about 12% of the worlds population of 7.4 billion. The land only 32% of the total earth, the world down under mostly water and long distances separate those who live here. There is no judgment in this information, just curiosity being satisfied by knowing more about the world that we all would like to know more about. What will we want to learn next? Filling in the tapestry of THPL is a truly special gift, let’s all do it and get to it and have fun doing so.
Loving life when I know where I am heading
