The delay…

At some level, there is nothing more important than how we use our time on our THPL journey.  Every decision we make about how to use time affects what we get done, how we feel about our day, the impact that we have on our lives and the world.  When we are casual with time the journey does not go along as intended and it is why we spend so much energy building plans, managing time, making the right tradeoffs and being really careful about the use of the hours we have in a day/week/month.  And so, when “others” take time from us we have to be ready and prepared to make the best of it.  It could be traffic, someone late for a meeting, a delay at an airport, they all have the same impact, we lose time to do the things that we have planned, and we have to address the change and also think about how we can adjust and make the best of it.  We know that we cannot control everything and so if our attitude and perspective are what we can control then when the delay happens we should bring the best attitude, be ready to fill in with what we can do and just go with the flow.  It is better to react well and make the best of it as it will make this part of the journey just that much better.

Loving life when I can work through a delay
