In the middle of the night

There are many “norms” of behavior, of custom, of culture and rules that we find along the journey and they have a way of becoming both a guidepost and an inhibitor of our lives and how we live.  And from this platform, we have a good place for us to reflect on whether the norm is unassailable (like respect for others) or worthy of thought and challenge (for example, can we run at night when we are supposed to be sleeping).  And in this process, we have an opportunity to push and prod life and determine the elasticity of the norm and how when we push the norm what we find out.  A real opportunity awaits us when we start down this path, in a thoughtful way, to take our norms to a new level.  A fun journey this is when we can use what we have and who we are to become to inform how we do more than the norm

Loving life when I challenge norms
