All too often we see only the beautiful finale, the spectacular performance, the extraordinary results. Like the beauty of an opera singer, the elegance of a skier going downhill, the raw power of an athlete setting a record. They are moments that seem natural and somewhat expected. Ah, but we know better…the moment when it all comes together is the result of commitment, resolve, repetition, practice, listening, thinking, and a belief in one’s self that anything is possible. The formula can play out in all of our lives. We need not be a professional or be perfect we just need to know that the effort and the choice are up to us. So, let’s acknowledge what it takes and then go after it. When we do the journey gets better and the results get better too.
