It is often easier while on our journey to see what it is that others need to do better or differently. We compare them to a standard and we give little room for those who do not perform as we think they should. As for ourselves, we do give a big range of what we find as acceptable habits, behaviors, performance…..maybe even a bit too much. How about if we used the standards we have for others for ourselves. What would we think is acceptable and agreeable for them should be for us. Seems only fair, right? So, let’s give it a try, think about how someone else can improve and then how we can bring that thinking to our journey. We might actually be happy with the results. Here’s to turning the table on ourselves and making improvements along the way.
