It is nothing short of remarkable how much the body and mind can do for us while on our journey. As we explore our ways to increase our performance, recover better, sleep better and do so much more we come to find that something as simple as deep breathing can have a positive effect on all that we do. Deep breathing can lower stress in the body. As we breathe deeply, we send a signal to our brain and our body to calm down and relax. We can also use deep breathing to help us through a tough day at work, with the kids or just tough with too much to do. A few deep breaths (we can pick the technique, box breathing, circular breathing etc that we want to use) and we can reset and be ready for whatever life throws at us. It is time for a deep breath, that is for sure
