We sure do know how to be serious while on our journey. We set our goals, we make our plan, we execute and then do it again and again. We might be caught smiling from time to time but that is not a guarantee. We might even tell someone that what we are doing is “important” and we do not have time for that kind of stuff (like laughing or smiling). Deep down we know this is not the way that we want to live or evolve our sense of who we are and what we are capable of. Maybe we can push out of our comfort zone and try to take it down a notch, from time to time. Maybe we can just be silly for a bit. We could be foolish, mindless, funny or even a bit off-center. We can poke fun at ourselves, laugh at a joke, or just let go a bit. All of which is good for us. When we balance our serious intent with a bit of lighthearted living good things happen…..and not just to us but to others around us, observing and enjoying and one day copying each other’s fun activities. So, let’s make a goal of being silly and having a good time because of it.
Loving life when I am acting silly
