There are lessons that we learn along on our journey. Sadly, one lesson that it seems like we have to learn again and again is pushing to the end and “running” through the finish line. We see it again and again, in sport, in politics, in life. We push hard, we get a lead and then we start to take our position for granted. As if the competition is going to gift us the win. It is not the case, the game of life is one where we are obliged to finish strong, we need to leverage our skills, our preparation, and our grit and push through the many finish lines that we are going to have. It is up to us how hard we push, so, let’s get mentally prepared and get that win on the board.
