What gets us through

We all know that at some point, actually many points, we are confronted by something uncomfortable, that feeling like I want this not to be happening.  We all know it….it could be some kind of loss, some kind of ailment, a tough time at work, a challenging relationship, it matters none which circumstance, what we feel is what we feel and we need to do something to deal with it.  We can let it play out but more likely we find a better pathway when we work to ameliorate the feeling.  And not to underplay the level of severity of these moments we can find it good when we bring something positive and therapeutic into our lives.  It can be as simple as a warm bath, a run around a park, a moment of meditation, a talk with a good friend, and so on.  What matters is that we embrace both the issue and the treatment.  We engage on both levels and we can feel better for so doing.  It is not about fixing but getting through and then building from there.  A lot to unpack and a need to do so.  Yes indeed….
