It’s ok

For many of us, we have not been through times as difficult as we have faced since COVID-19 was classified as a pandemic.  It is unchartered territory and depending on each of our own individual circumstances our perspectives, feelings, and reality can be wide-ranging.  We might be feeling anxious, upset, confused, helpless, angry and so much more.  All of these feelings are ok to have, this is a serious circumstance.  And while it is real to feel these emotions we cannot stay in a totally “triggered” state.  If we are feeling stuck in a not so good place we should reach out for help, we should talk about how we feel, and then look for what kinds of solutions are available to help address our situation.  Broadly speaking our systems are starting to respond to what is going on and in time the risks will dissipate.  Until then we should work to put as much of our energy towards addressing our issues, personally, and being productive about how to get to a better place.  It might take a bit of time and this is ok, we just have to stay the course and work ourselves towards a good future which we will all be part of.  We have done it before, we can do it again.

Loving life even when it gets tough
