We all know that while on our journey if we happen upon someone who needed help we would stop what we are doing and we would help. If it was a race, a run, a game, an adventure, it would not matter what we were doing. What would matter is the person in need of help and assistance. We would do what we could and then get help. Well, we are at a moment on our journey when others need help. And it is up to us to live to our unstated credo that we are committed to helping others in need. So, what can we do? If we are healthy or not, unless we need to be in a hospital or a critical job we should be staying in place. It is the best way for us to help others. Yes, it seems odd that doing nothing is helping but, in this instance, staying away from others is the barrier to transmission. We actually can beat this virus by not letting it go from host to host. Think of it as our modern-day moat. Protect us from the enemy. We can also help with donations and for those of us who need to be “in the system” working to provide for others, we need to make sure they have the right protection. We can also help by staying in touch with family and friends, emails, phone calls, videos all make a difference. We will get through this and we can do something to make that come sooner. Let’s be the best version of ourselves and all will be good.
Loving life when I can help others
