Well, not exactly, we are not taking a day off from our journey, we should keep true to our goals and objectives and how we should live, with integrity, values, respect, and love in our heart. But, we all know that while we keep pressing forward there are headwinds in the form of COVID-19 that can take us off our game, maybe even more than anything ever has. As we continue to learn about the virus and its pathway it is more and more obvious that it going to be with us for quite some time. And to it we are bringing two fights: On the physical level we are fighting the virus with the best and the brightest - social distancing, health care, medication, one day a vaccine, this is how we beat it long term. On the emotional level, we are working to stay positive and be productive working to address our fears, worries and more. If we are, though, to make it for the long term we are going to need to take a break from the news, from talking about it over and over and to spiraling into a bad place. So, maybe we need a day off from the news, from the long discussions, from the worries that each of us has. Yes, a day off, every once in a while, it will be good for the system and for us. We will get through this; we are resilient and resourceful we just don’t want to get there wiped out and out of sorts. Here’s to finding our way to get a day off and enjoy it, it is ours to do as we choose, seems like a good thing to do (from time to time).
Loving life when I get a day off
