Beyond the economics

We all know and need to acknowledge that the economic impact of this pandemic is worse than anything we have ever seen and there is no way to pretty up that story, it is what it is, a disaster for way too many.  And there are other parts of life that have been equally destabilized and have become out of synch for so long that we find ourselves seeking to find a path to some form of reconciliation.  For sure we have not seen family, friends, co-workers, even strangers enough.  We are longing for the practicality of life, the connections, the community.  We realize now, more than ever, that that we need to have more of the relationships, the chance encounters, the random conversations, the silent walk, a swing on a swing with a friend pushing us.  It is what we feel most, and it is breeding that sense that something is wrong, that we are feeling it way too much.  Yes, for sure we need to go beyond the economics as it is the underpinning of all we do but let’s not forget everything else that matters to us and our health and wellness.  Indeed.

Loving life when I focus beyond the economics.
