We are all used to setting goals and building a plan to achieve them. Run a marathon, get a degree, travel the world, learn a new skill, they all take time to achieve. And yes, there are times when we get a bit impatient during the prep phase and yet we find a way to endure, to stick to the plan and get to the goal and the outcome that we set out to achieve. Seems there is a bit of a lesson underlying this learned behavior that we can apply to our current circumstance. Maybe it just takes a while to fix this situation, yes, we can be impatient and want it over sooner, but it might be good if we just accepted that to get to the “objective” will take time. If we can get to this level of acceptance, then it could be that we are less stressed and find a better path back to “normal” or whatever that will be in a post-COVID state. Let’s use that patience “gene” and win this one in the right way….
Loving life when I get used to it taking time
