Blackout Tuesday

Blackout Tuesday, an amazing day for sure.  It started with one Instagram post that grew in all of our feeds to hundreds and thousands of blackout messages.  All channels filling up with a level of support and solidarity that few of us have experienced.  An opportunity to listen, to observe, to get in touch with what is going on, and to open our hearts in an attempt to understand.  To lay witness to what is happening tells us something is not right and that we have to address it and layout a plan to do something material.  It will take time to change and to reverse what got us here in the first place.  But we are resilient and committed if nothing else to freedom, liberty, and respect for all – it may not show holistically today but we can get it there.  Here’s to having as many Black Tuesday’s as we need.  Till we start to work on it nothing changes but if we do work on it, anything is possible.

Loving life when I am inspired by Black Tuesday.
