The Narrative

When we look at our current circumstances challenged by social injustice, a global pandemic, economic challenges, poverty at unacceptable levels and so much more we can think about a lot but mostly we need to think about the narrative that will take us to a brighter future.  Throughout history, we have been similarly challenged and while not perfect, there have been men and women, who have created a narrative that paved the path to being better, doing it with fairness and challenge, taking on big goals and setting a framework for future generations to live better than their ancestors.  Jefferson, Lincoln, Kennedy, Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King, and so many more crafted a narrative that can serve as a framework for how to move forward.  They asked for little and yet requested a lot, freedom, equality, courage, happiness, and opportunity for all.  We can get back to these sentiments because we know and understand them.  All we need is to start with the narrative.  It is there for the taking and we will all be better for it.

Loving life when I live the narrative
