As we go on our journey, we realize that much of what we get out of it and how it feels is a function of the choices we make. And one of the biggest choices that we make is the people we spend time with. When we hang out with special people, who are immensely talented or high functioning, or generous to a fault we realize that there is a different kind of deep level of benefits we get from being with them. We learn, we absorb, we grow in ways unpredictable and yet impactful. The benefits go far beyond what happens to us, the long-lasting impact of the people whom we choose to spend time sets a foundation that is with us for life and far outweighs just about any other influence that we are affected by. So, let’s choose wisely and cultivate these important relationships as they are truly the currency of life!
