Make it Taste Good

We go on our journey and the more that we do the more that we need the right nutrition to keep us going and to enable us to take on some of the big challenges that we are facing or want to embrace. Seems like, though, that we can often struggle to find the right food and nutrition to keep us going, feeling good and ready for whatever the journey throws at us.  We all know that single-ingredient meals are the best.  That is a meal that uses more “raw” or “natural” ingredients.  One suggestion is to make a rad salad that has all the right ingredients (and then anything else that we feel good about adding).   Here are some components that are a great starting point for this next level salad. 

Dressing and grains. grains are great for keeping salads fresh because they’ll absorb any extra moisture from veggies like tomatoes

Water-rich veggies. Tomatoes and cucumbers

Dense veggies. Roasted brussels sprouts and/or sweet potatoes

Nuts and seeds. Dried fruit or fresh berries and a handful of nuts and seeds.

Greens. Any good-looking greens.

Avocados. Of course!
