Day 2 the struggle

When we set out to do something really hard, there is a bit of naivety that is required to be able to take it on.  Where we to truly think about what the effort is required or the difficulty that we would encounter we might just decide not to do it.  It feels a bit like that here at Bigs Backyard.  The group who showed up for the world championship, for sure, have checked their reality card at the door and have come to race, regardless of the circumstances.  It feels like a good decision on one hand and a foolish one on the other.  But in the situation, a great challenge unfolds, and with it the difficulty that makes us better every time we do it.  So, here’s to the struggle and the challenge and all that we will learn from it, certainly worth the price of admission
