Every year Earth Day becomes more important to the safety and care and future of the planet. We have 7.8 B people on the earth and will be ~10B people by 2050. We have to think differently if we are to be able to live here effectively, safely, and productively. It is going to take a lot of changes to support this kind of increase of people and the resulting impact that we will have. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle is a good place to start but will most likely be insufficient. We are all going to have to think differently about how we live, eat and care for each other. Let’s do what we can on Earth Day 2021 and set ourselves up for reduced impact and cooperative living and then leverage each successive Earth Day as a catalyst for the change that we all need.
