For many of us, our life has moved past much of what we experienced when we were early in our journey. Our early times were guided by the structures that we were part of and now some years gone by we get to guide/select what we do and the choices that we make. And with a bit of reflection, we reach back and think about what it is that created opportunity, learning, and value for us. As we enter the summer season there is that approach that says summers can be for learning, that summer school that some of us took advantage of made a real difference. It was an opportunity to accelerate our learning and skills development. Now an opportunity and only upside when we make a decision to commit to “summer school”. We get to pick what we want to learn about, and we then end the summer having progressed further than we would otherwise. On our journey that is all about doing more and doing better, it is a good plan indeed.
