We go along on our journey, and we actively look to others, who are “best in class” for what it is that makes them great at what they do. And often we find ourselves copying much of their technique, dress, method, style and so much more. It works, for sure, and we can improve from copying others. Yet, it does not have to end there, we can find ways to be unique and different, to bring our own style and approach to what we do. To define our persona and our personality by how we go about our journey and to do so without worry about what others think. We need not be out there trying to fit into what others think is the way to be rather we need to own and embrace our “different”, whether it be our equipment, approach, training, racing, or just living. Let us be true to ourselves and how we feel about our choices. The more that we care about how we think and feel, the better our journey will be, for us. Being different is our choice and a good one at that.
