Finding happiness

We push ourselves to achieve our objectives and our goals. And we do it without regard for how it is we are feeling.  The apparent compromise justified by our achievements.  We stick to this approach because it is what we know but in fact, while it is necessary to meet some of our needs it is not sufficient.  We need to go further and deeper into how we feel and our intrinsic and innate ability to feel happy.  Happiness comes from within and yet it is triggered by what we do and how we perceive our circumstances.  With the proper context, we can find happiness in the simple things we do, take a walk, hang out with our friends, eat a nice meal, read a book, go for a run and so much more.  Happiness is for us to grasp and take a hold of and to integrate into how we feel while on our journey.  With a little effort and some thoughtful ways, we all can be happy and much better for it!
