The longer we are on our journey the better we get at going and going and doing and doing. We take on more, we do more, and we even seek out more. It seems like we run out of time before we run out of things to do. It does have its benefits as we continue to learn and grow, and experience more than we would have otherwise experienced. And yet, there are some real benefits to taking a break from time to time to create a disconnect from what we are doing, thinking, or working on. A bit of separation allows us to see things differently and to even appreciate more what it is we are doing. The breaks can be short or long but most importantly they need to have some kind of frequency to them. We will do better and feel better with a break and there is no time like the present to make it happen. Here’s to taking a break!
