There are times and moments along our journey when we need to reflect on all that we have. That we must live a life that is worthy of the gift that we have while we are here. We really have no true concept of the impermanence of our possessions, our life, our relationships. They are within us, they surround us, they give us comfort and peace in our hearts. And, yet, in an instant, they can vanish, with no warning, or judgment, or permission. Many of our friends and people we do not know suffered such loss in Colorado this past week. We are shocked, as they are, at the devastation that occurred and the senseless way that it all unfolded. And it is in the aftermath that we offer our thoughts and our resources to help. To be there for all whom we can help in this time of great loss. For in the mystery of life we must be present and thankful, and supportive and with clear and open heart that love, and caring will keep us believing that indeed the journey, and all that it brings, is worth it.
