Put it all out there

The NYC Marathon was run today and the data from the event is nothing short of remarkable.  47,838 finishers, the oldest finisher was 88 years old and there were 45 non-binary finishers.  The men’s leader through 21 miles collapsed and dropped after pushing a blistering pace.  The men’s and women’s winners won by less than 20 seconds.  The wheelchair and handcycle categories were super competitive.  Overall, the race shows that a very big group of people put it all out there to do something that is hard; it takes training and determination and a lot of grit to get to the finish line.  It is a great reminder that if we put our minds to something that we can achieve way more than we think we can.  Congratulations to all of the finishers on a job well done!  Rest up and let’s see what’s next…..

Loving life when we put it all out there
