Ah, December 21, the winter solstice, the day that the sun is furthest away from the northern hemisphere, and we have what is called the shortest day of the year. A day when we have the least amount of sunlight and at the same time we start to lean back towards the sun and work our way to that longest day of the year on June 21. A moment to think about what the sun does for us and how we owe who we are to this light that burns so brightly for us every day. It is there for us no matter what, always, with all that we need. Maybe a true symbol of how we should start and end our day, with a feeling of warmth, light, brightness, and eternal energy. Yes, that does feel right, on such a day, with another spin around the sun.
Loving life when I spin around the sun
