National Water Day

If we are to be true to an inspired journey then we need to think about how we use our natural resources, how we protect nature, and how we make a difference so that all can have the same amazing opportunity that we have to live on mother earth.  The earth is 7/8 covered in water.  Water is our most precious resource.  It is the lifeblood of all that lives and thrives on the earth.  And while there is a lot of water around us it is still a precious resource that needs to be protected and valued.  National water day was created in 1993 to bring focus and attention to the importance of freshwater.  The day is intended to raise awareness of the lack of access to safe water for more than 2 billion people.  There are many ways we can do our part.  We can use less water and be thoughtful about where our water comes from.  We can save it and share it and we can use days like National Water Day to bring focus, attention, and action to the very important topic of keeping us all with enough fresh water to live long and productive lives
