It is interesting to think about the juxtaposition of what we seek while on our journey. On the one hand, we want to explore, find out more about the unknown, look for adventure, take on some risk, do things that we do not know exactly what the outcome will be, meet different people and so much more. On the other hand, we appreciate, and even desire, our journey to be safe and secure. To be able to keep what we have, our health, our relationships, our assets, and our place in our community. And in this tug between exploring and being safe, there is the risk that what we want on one side cannot give us what we want on the other side. The good thing is that we learn as we go, that this is ok, that life is not just one way or another, that we can be curious and want nothing to change. We just need to appreciate our life and our journey for what it is and what it can and might not be. Yes, that is what this journey is…..
Loving life when I am safe and secure
